As the need for instant exchange of health data grows, so does an interest in secure, identity-assured scalability to meet these real-time demands. The HL7® Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (HL7 FHIR®) exchange standard is increasingly popular, due to its use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), common in today’s internet and foundational to apps being able to request and be authorized access to health information. Regulation underscores the patient’s right to authorize sharing of their health data to an app of their choice, which means drawing on the underlying FHIR API standard. Our environment of client applications and APIs grows by the day and we want to avoid breaches of sensitive health information. How do we know which apps, identity services, and APIs to trust?
Join us to learn about the Trusted Dynamic Registration and Authentication Accreditation Program (TDRAAP), an independent accreditation validating adherence to industry best practices that provides an app, identity service, or server can interoperate safely and securely in the FHIR ecosystem, enabling trusted exchange.
This webinar will provide information about the industry forces that led to the need for an independent accreditation, as well as the value the accreditation provides.
